The Herd

Picture
Our horses are our teachers.
Currently we have 25 horses and ponies on the property from a variety of backgrounds. Over the years so many horses have found us.
Quite a lot of them, horses which were labled "problem horses", as we see it: Horses with former problem owners. All of them with an interesting history,  and now having found their forever homes, being allowed to be horses and all of them are incredible teachers and guides.

They are all kept in one herd, except of our stallion, who is running with a mare. Besides the paddocks they continously get rotated on, they have the joy to go bush and play wild horses every few weeks. All of them are barefoot, only get covered when sick and are outside all year round. The stand off area in summer and winter provides shelter as well as trees in the paddocks. They have incredibly strong bonds and are a very calm and stable herd.

With our horses kept as natural as possible and run as one herd, enhances their ability to interact naturally in the learning programmes we run.  Each of our horses seem to have their specialist area of expertise in helping people to learn.
