Humanship Horsemanship
taking horsemanship to another level
The focus is on building the relationship with your horse based on trust and respect.
Humanship horsemanship is about the becoming of a horseman/woman rather than just simply learning and practicing techniques.
This can be a difficult concept for us as humans to accept as we have to let go of the idea of training our horse and embrace the idea of training ourselves.
It is about effectively looking at ourselves as seen through the eyes of the horse.
The becoming of a horseman/-woman requires the integration of technique with our attitudes and beliefs, all of which affect our body language and therefore the trueness of our communication.
From 1st November to 31st May we offer a number of different group workshops and individual sessions tailored to your specific needs at North River.
Workshops also available throughout New Zealand.
