Horsemanship Lessons

Picture
Horsemanship lessons are more than just riding lessons.
It is the bigger picture of being around and doing things with horses. Building a relationship based on trust and respect,
developing focus, feel, timing and balance and safely handling horses on the ground and riding horses are the ongoing themes of these horsemanship lessons.
Most lessons are taken out in the real world of the trails to enhance the learning process.
Independence is encouraged so as to create opportunities for experiential and self learning.
This ideally leads to the Share-a-Horse programme that we operate with horses at the centre.
As everyone learns in different ways at different speeds most lessons are conducted individually.
Lessons are available 7 days a week from 1st October to 31st May by arrangement.
Cost: Casual rate:$45 per session (approximately 1 hour).
Concessions available bringing the cost to as low as $40 per session.
